COVID19 Update

June 26, 2020 | Alerts, Community, News | By: Jennifer Brull

The number of COVID19 cases is rising steadily across the state of Kansas and in our region over the last month, most significantly in the past week. KDHE recently reported two COVID19 clusters originating from sporting events held in Ellis County. This news may be concerning to you, and Post Rock wants to let you know we care about your health and safety. We wanted to share how we are working to protect our patients from COVID19 infection.

  • We offer telehealth and telephone (virtual) visits for most visit types. If you prefer not to come to our office at all during this time, we are happy to accommodate you with a tele-visit! Send us a portal message or call our office if you prefer to see your health care provider from the safety of your own home.
  • To reduce time spent in the office and eliminate waiting room time, we ask that you call us to check in (785.434.2622) when you arrive at the parking lot. We will handle all administrative tasks over the phone and notify you when we are ready for you, so you can proceed quickly to your exam room without lobby delays.
  • RCH will resume use of a screening desk for all persons entering the facility beginning Monday, June 29. Plan to stop briefly to answer two screening questions and get your temperature checked before your appointment.
  • We know that mask wearing protects folks from people who have COVID19, even if that person does not have symptoms yet. All RCH and Post Rock staff will be wearing masks when you see us in the hallways or in your exam room. All patients and visitors are required to wear a cloth or surgical mask while in the building. You can bring your own, or we will provide one when you check in at the screening desk.

Please do not hesitate to call us with your questions or concerns. Be well.
