Ready to Quit Smoking?

Plainville Medical Clinic would love to help you quit smoking! Anyone who has ever smoked knows that cigarettes are one of the hardest habits to break. And everyone knows they aren’t good for you or those around you. So, PMC has teamed up with KU Medical Center to provide smoking cessation services to our patients.

If you are ready to make a change in your life and reduce or quit smoking, now is a great time to start. The University of Kansas School of Medicine is studying how people successfully quit smoking, and you can get help quitting while you help them learn! They will provide either phone or televideo counseling to patients enrolled in the study. And, they also have incentives to complete research surveys along the way (in the form of Wal-Mart gift cards).

We hope you find this the perfect spring to kick the habit. Contact our office or talk to your provider about enrolling in this exciting project.
